The 121st Mackenzie A&P Highland Show will be held on Easter Monday, the 22nd of April 2019 at the Mackenzie A&P Showgrounds. The Mackenzie A&P Highland Show is the largest one day Show in New Zealand with 12-15,000 through the gates. A fun family day out with something for everyone!
Annual competitions at the show include a New Zealand Kennel Club show, wood chopping, Mackenzie Shears (a Shearing Sports NZ competition) and a gift lamb competition. Other attractions this year include Li’l Chuck – The One Man Skiffle Machine (sponsored by Fairlie Early Learners), Freestyle NZ Motocross—NZ’s #1 Professional FMX Team. Also the Mackenzie Shears, Wood Chopping, Celebrity Chef and Cooking Demonstrations (thanks to ARA), Highland Games (demo), NZ Kennel Club Show, Free Riding, Pedalmania, Cowboy Challenge (demos), Mackenzie Trail Challenge, Exhibition Dog Trial, Animal Tent, Vintage Machinery, Mackenzie Highland Pipe Band, Barwoods Entertainment stage, Fairlie Four Square lolly scramble, Grand Parade, shopping, food, animals and much, much more.
